Rainforest ART

In Year 6 we have been doing art about the rainforest! So far we have: drawn pictures of different animals from the rainforest and put them on a display, done a poster about an animal we have researched about and designed a t-shirt we are yet to make! We are extremely excited as, as soon as we complete our t-shirts we are going to do a 'save the rainforest' catwalk in front of the whole school and show off our t-shirts! Of course this would not be possible without all the staff and  Mrs Tudor so a very big thank you to them all! :)

Science Fair

On Thursday a couple of weeks ago a science fair took place in the hall. The children from key stage one and two had to choose a scientific question then answer it by making a model and maybe write a little booklet about it. Then the models got judged by the school governors. The winning model from key stage one was by Jake and the winning model from key stage two was by Euan.

Red nose day!

On Friday we had red nose day but because we had ran out of noses so we didn't sell any noses on that day unfortunately. Mostly it was like a normal school day though, the only difference was that we had an afternoon assembly and some people wore something  red but besides that it wasn't too
different.
