World book day

World book day was a fun and exciting day for everyone, including the teachers. There were all sorts of different costumes such as; Harry Potters, Where's Wallys, Matilda's, Awful Aunties and lots more, Even some of the teachers dressed up. In the morning we were split off into groups and my group was Myths and Legends. We did the Loch Ness Monster and our activity was to write down as many facts we could think of and then present it to the class - it was really fun and interesting. World book day was amazing.

Rainforest art in year 6

In year 6, children are learning about the rainforest and now we are doing art with Mrs Tudor of animals like Tigers, Parrotts and lots more. We are doing a display, so if you are in School, have a look near 6JO classroom. The title is 'Save the Rainforest'.

We are learning a lot of things about the rainforests, we have written poems in literacy and we made animals in art. Soon we will be decorating T-shirts and doing a cat walk in front of the whole school (which lots of us are scared of).

We are having so much fun doing this project, if you come in our school please look at our display.
Thank you for reading my blog.

WW1 play

Last week 2 men came into our school. They performed a little play to  key stage 2 about the World War One. It was really good and funny at times. It went on for about 45 minutes. They brought in a huge wooden stand as a background and shined the projector at it. They knew all the words too! It was very educational and interesting, sometimes it was quite sad
