Rainforest art in year 6

In year 6, children are learning about the rainforest and now we are doing art with Mrs Tudor of animals like Tigers, Parrotts and lots more. We are doing a display, so if you are in School, have a look near 6JO classroom.The title is 'Save the Rainforest'.                                

We are learning a lot of things about the rainforests, we have written poems in literacy and we made animals in art. Soon we will be decorating T-shirts and doing a cat walk in front of the whole school (which lots of us are scared of).

WW1 play

Last week 2 men came into our school. They performed a little play to  key stage 2 about the World War One. It was really good and funny at times. It went on for about 45 minutes. They brought in a huge wooden stand as a background and shined the projector at it. They knew all the words too! It was very educational and interesting, sometimes it was quite sad
