The sports ambassadors training !

On the 23rd September Sasha,Cole,Callum and  Hazel went to Robert Smyth for training to be the next sports ambassadors. There were lots of schools like Great Bowden Academy and Church Langton Primary. We did fun activities like making our own game. It was such fun and we really learned something from the experience. From the experience we had from the sports ambassador training we have decided to have a sports council. They could say: can we arrange a teacher vs year six football or netball match! I think that children in year 3,4,5 or 6 say to there mum or dad can I do netball or football or other wonderful sports!!

Basketball

Every Monday, after school, a basketball trainer takes a large group of children to play basketball. The trainer is called Tyler. The club is for Y3-Y6 so there is a variety of ages there. Sahara B, Kian D and I, are the only year 6s there. It is on from 3:15 till 4:15.

Football Club

Jack and Mr Ager took Year 5 and 6 Football Training on Wednesday after school on the school field.
Year 6 played on the Main pitch with Mr. Ager in the first half and Jack in the second.
It was quite a tough game with the greens taking an early lead and  the reds having a few good chances. A couple of good saves  saw the greens winning by 1-0.. All in all a tough but good win for the greens.

Spy Day!

I thought spy day was great  because we got to dress up and do fun activities and games. Firstly the whole of year 6 finished the last chapter of their spy story. Then we had assembly and after the assembly we had break. Some of year 6 played a big game of tag it was great fun! All of year 6 were super excited to watch Stormbreaker. We finished Stormbreaker after lunch. Once we finished Stormbreaker we could either go outside to do some tennis or could do some art thing but 24 of us decided to play tennis I was one it was amazing. Mr O'Connell said we are allowed to play are on game for 10 minutes but we had to play with are partner. Once the 10 minutes were up we play a game like doge ball but with tennis ball.
